Privacy Policy

Effective July 7, 2026

The short version: Boxing Timer collects no data about you. No account, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no tracking of any kind. There is nothing to sell, share, or leak, because nothing leaves your device.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in the app is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad and nowhere else:

We have no servers that receive this information and no way to see it.

Apple Health

If you turn on Health logging in Settings, completed workouts are written to Apple Health on your device. This is write-only: the app never reads anything from Apple Health, and your health data never passes through us. You can revoke this permission at any time in the Health app, and the feature is off until you enable it.

The one network request the app makes

At most once per day, the app downloads a small public configuration file from this website to learn which sponsor card to display. This request:

Like any web request, it is subject to the standard server logs of our hosting provider (GitHub Pages, operated by GitHub, Inc.). We do not receive, review, or store those logs.

Sponsorship, not advertising

The app shows a single sponsor card. It is a static image and link — not an ad network. There is no ad SDK in the app, no bidding, no profiling, and no measurement of you. If you tap a sponsor's link, it opens in your browser, and the sponsor's own privacy policy applies from that point.

Siri and Shortcuts

Voice commands and shortcuts are processed by Apple's App Intents system on your device, under Apple's privacy terms. We receive nothing.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date. Given the app's design, we do not expect it to change in substance.
